Hello I am Latika...

I grew up in Lucknow, India — a place where comfort zones and familiar routines felt like home. If you’d told my younger self that I’d one day hop between cities, countries, and continents, I probably would’ve laughed in disbelief. Yet, life has a beautiful way of expanding our horizons and today, I proudly call myself a global citizen.

After completing my Bachelor’s and Master’s in Clinical Psychology in Delhi and Mumbai, India (while also mastering the mysteries of independent living — yes, finally figured out what goes where in the spice box), I moved to England in 2016 to start my PhD. Four years and one doctorate later, I began a postdoc at the Centre for Appearance Research in Bristol, where I worked on body image interventions for young people in collaboration with partners like the Dove Self-Esteem Project, UNICEF India, and BBC Action Media. Along the way, I soaked up every opportunity — teaching, running workshops, engaging with communities and everything in between if it meant that I was creating a real world impact.

I now work within the NHS, supporting adults living with anxiety and depression, and partner with healthcare teams and universities to develop evidence-based interventions. And because I clearly can’t resist a challenge, I’ve also gone back to school — training in Integrative Transactional Analysis psychotherapy.

When I have my psychotherapist hat on, I partner with community organisations and also work independently across UK and at a global level. I create spaces where people can talk about the hard stuff, unpack life’s pressures, and reconnect with their own strengths.

I am curious about people and believe in the power of connection. The core value of really listening is something I’ve carried into every part of my work.

So whether it’s research, therapy, or community work my goal is the same

To create spaces where people feel seen, supported, and reminded that growth is always possible (even if it takes a few unexpected detours).

In short, I am so glad that you are reading this!!
